They are two 25- minute halves. No ties. Tie games go straight to Penalty Kicks. No overtime.
Two 25 min halves. 5 min halftime. Ties at the end of regulation go into PKs, 5 player shootout. 11v11. If the team doesn't have 11, then 9v9.
For our league, we play two 25-minute halve with a 5-minute halftime.
There is no overtime until the playoff games. Therefore, if the regular season game ends in a tie, the score stands as a tie.
We have a "Sportsmanship Rule," where if the goal difference is 5 goals, bench players are to be put in and the coach pulls back play (especially if their starters are in).
There is absolutely NO slide tackling and NO dangerous play in our league. SAFETY FIRST
When it gets to the playoff games (semifinals & championship game), if there is a tie, then:
a) There is a 10-minute "Sudden Death" overtime. 1st team to score wins!
b) Sudden Death Penalty Kicks (max. 5 attempts for the Championship game only)
c) Co-Champions (Championship game only)
